Mission Success Story
Samantha was a participant in Goodwill’s Supported Employment Program (SEP). While in the program, she worked on job searching and improving the skills she would need for successful employment in the community.
With the help of her SEP job coach, Samantha applied for different jobs and attended various job interviews. She tried a couple of jobs but did not find the right fit. Finally, Samantha was hired at Meijer as a greeter and was quickly trained as an employee COVID-19 health screener.
Samantha told us, “Goodwill was my first job and I loved it. My job at Meijer is great. I like my coworkers and working with the customers”.
