Mission Success Story
Robert works in Goodwill’s Supported Employment Program. He is working very hard to learn janitorial skills that will help him to reach his goal to work in the community in janitorial services. Robert is also learning valuable work skills such as, being dependable, following work directions, work safety skills and working as a team. Robert likes to keep busy and pays attention to details to make sure he is providing good quality while cleaning.
When asked what Robert likes best about his job, he said, “I like working and taking care of myself. I need to have a paycheck to live and pay my bills”.
Goodwill’s Supported Employment Program will be coming to our DeKalb store in early 2022.
